1965

Playgroup opens at Boys Brigade hall

With only 18 children and 3 staff, our Playgroup opened under a Voluntary Committee

1977

Playgroup merges with Lorne Grove Playgroup

2004

Playgroup moves to Brumfitt Rooms

After an incident with mice over the Summer Holidays, we escaped to the temporary location of the Brumfitt Rooms.

2007

Playgroup moves to Dayncourt School

2009

Playgroup offers afternoon sessions

2012

Playgroup gets to host the Olympic Torch

2015

Celebrating our 50th Anniversary

80 children on roll, 14 staff

2016

Playgroup moves to Radcliffe on Trent Infant School

In a custom-built building, we finally had our own space, opening up more opportunities for sessions and activities.

2025

We celebrated our 60th Anniversary!
